RALPH L. MOSHER is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Developmental Studies, School of Education, Boston University. He is the author, editor, or coeditor of numerous books and other studies, including Preparing for Citizenship (1994) and Moral Action in Young Adulthood (1998).DEBORAH J. YOUNGMAN is Assistant Professor in the Department of Developmental Studies, School of Education, Boston University, where she also serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the graduate program in Counseling. Her current interests include moral development in later adulthood and challenges to moral life in the emerging democracies of Eastern Europe.JAMES M. DAY is Professor of Human Development and the Psychology of Religion at the Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Professor Day is a member of the editorial boards of various scholarly journals, including The Journal of Moral Education.
