Hydraulic and Excavation Tables, by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, is a very handy pocket or desk reference for engineers engaged in open channel hydraulic work. It is written in Imperial units of measure and contains tables that may not be found elsewhere in print. Typical entries are calculated values for incremental changes in variables associated with mathematical relationships, Manning's n equations and geometric shapes such as culverts and excavated channels. The information is presented in a format that enables calculations to be undertaken with ease.
