Trevor Eddolls BA, Cert Ed, MOS MI, DHP, HPD, SFBT Sup (Hyp), CBT (Hyp), Dip Hyp (paediatrics), Dip Mindfulness, AfSFH (Exec), CNHC Registered, UKCHO Registered is a clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. He's clinical director at iTech-Ed Hypnotherapy and Head of IT and Social Media on the AfSFH (Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy) Executive. Trevor is a Hypnotherapy Master Practitioner, a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy Supervisor, and an NLP Master Practitioner. He is a qualified Life Coach, As well as diplomas in CBT, Mindfulness, and Paediatric Hypnotherapy, he has diplomas in Positive Psychology, Counselling, Nutrition, and Play Therapy.
Solution-focused hypnotherapy, as its name suggests, focuses a client's attention on the solution to their problems rather than the causes. Evidence suggests that dwelling on what led to a problem can increase the client's issues, whereas focusing on solutions can dramatically reduce those issues.
Trevor is a popular blogger and presenter. He has been seeing clients and writing about hypnotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology techniques for over 10 years.
He also runs the hypnotherapy training company, SFHPlus. And runs regular CPD (Continuous Professional Development) courses for solution-focused hypnotherapists.
Before training as a hypnotherapist, Trevor worked with mainframes. He also spent many years writing books and articles, and editing well-respected technical journals about mainframe technology.
