Notă biografică

Robert Pinsky attended Rutgers and Stanford, where he held a Stegner Fellowship. He has taught classes in poetry at Wellesley, Berkeley, and currently at Boston University. Among his awards are the William Carlos Williams Prize, the Shelley Memorial Award, and the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize. From 1997 to 2000 he was the U.S. Poet Laureate. Mazur's work has been exhibited at MOMA, The Whitney, Brooklyn, and the Metropolitan museums. He was a faculty member at RISD, Brandeis University, and a visiting artist at Harvard's Carpenter Center. He is represented in New York by the Mary Ryan Gallery and in Boston, by the Barbara Krakow Gallery and in Provincetown at Albert Merola Gallery.
