There was a time when I wrote a poetry about lost love and broken hearts but today, 2 1/2 years clean and sober I have a new reason to write about. My poetry is recovery and spiritually inspired which makes it real and, in some cases, emotionally hard to read. I hope that those who read my poetry will see that there is a solution and a better way to live. Asking for help and then taking the first step is all it takes to see what all the rave is about. God blessed me with this gift, as He has done with so many other talents, and I've wasted them over the years. Now I have found a way to put them to use the way I know He would have wanted me to. To help others who struggle see that we are not alone.
