This book is aimed at improving one's perspective on living, not dying--but it is about creating a perspective that acknowledges we must live with death and not deny the important role it plans in the human experience. As difficult as it is for us to talk about death in our culture of denial, it is even more difficult to suggest there are ways to view it in a positive light Death deserves to not be personified as the grim reaper or the bad guy in the black hat. Our finite human life is the perfect condition because of--not in spite of--the reality a human life-span ends in death.
