Notă biografică
The author is the actual young boy in the story. He grew up in North Central Kentucky on a large farm. He had thirteen brothers and sister and most still live in the community in Carroll County, Kentucky. He was determined to grow up and become a professional athlete and continued that quest until many misfortunes finally change the course of his life and the life of his family. He married a young woman from Ghent, Kentucky and they were blessed with two children, a girl first and four years later a boy. His wife passed away with cancer at the age of thirty-three. The children were eleven and six. He later married his current wife and together they became a family of six. He spent most of his early life working for a major chemical company, coaching, and managing the local youth sports programs in his hometown in Carrollton. After his children graduated from high school, he moved to Boone County, Kentucky and took a job with major Real Estate Company, which he continues to work for as of the writing of this book. His friends and family in his hometown and the Real Estate Company encouraged him to continue to write stories. His stories are about life, love, God, family, hope, winning and losing, country, encouragement, overcoming illness, and recovery to fulfill Gods plan for you on earth and in heaven. His Grandson asked him to write down his stories about our family so he could tell them to his children someday. Shortly after publishing 'I Took Soul To Church Today' he plans to publish a series of books 'Titled The Clifton Plans'. These books cover topic that he has study and practiced for many years. They include Family Emergency Response Planning, Family Task Management, Home Safety and Assessment, Health and Wellness, Business Safety Management Systems. He is also planning a follow up with a part II, I Took Soul To Church Today Book II. The first book covers the first thirty years of his life growing up in Carroll County; the second book is a continuation of life on the farm and in my hometown. His hobbies include writing, playing and coaching all sports, reading, technology, refereeing High school basketball in Kentucky and Ohio. He is a licensed official in softball, volleyball, and basketball. He is a member of the Ninth Region Basketball Officials Association and the Kentucky High School Athletic Association.
