Talentul lui Halsey la scris a fost pus pe hartie, si nu doar in cantecele ei. Imi place cat de deschisa si de reala este scriitoarea, iar fiecare poem in parte spune o poveste in cateva randuri si transpune cititorul in mintea bizara, haotica, dar totusi umana, sensibila, frumoasa lui Halsey.

Poeziile lui Halsey tind să fie dure, intense, uneori brutale, dar asta este și frumusețea lor. Deși subiectele poeziilor pot fi clișeice într-o oarecare măsură, modul "dark" în care sunt conturate este foarte original.

I would leave me if i could e o carte cu totul speciala , cred ca fiecare dontre noi ne putem regasi in versurile scrise de Halsey . De multe ori poezile nu sunt foarte atragatoare mai alea pentru tanara generatie ,dar cititnd cartea acesta te regasesti in ea si in experintele despre care povesteste Halsey cu atata atentie la detalii.
