Autor Patricia Greta Costey-Henry
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 28 sep 2016
A bible of information for new and seasoned pet owners. Anyone who has ever had a pet will relate to, If Dogs Could Talk Love, Joy, and Tears. An easy read, for pet lovers, and romantics alike. It is based on a true story, fictionalized through the eyes of an apricot Toy poodle, Mr. Caper Browne. Mr. Browne brings you through many aspects of his life as he lived it with his beloved partner in crime, Elephant cat and their master Phone Patty, as he witnesses her past horrors, her unforgettable demons, their fun, training and travel, bonding their relationship, supposedly trying to beat all odds until death do they part, all the while proving, 'a dog is man' best friend'.During all his adventures he manages to take you on a questionable love affair of a handsome suitor as he and Chubs the cat try to unravel their conspiracy theory that they concocted about their owner Phone Patty and her might be lover, who may not be all that kosher but appears to have fallen for her not knowing she is afraid of love and what it might do to her. Mr. Caper Browne brings Phone Patty through his failing health forcing her to question euthanasia, her own mortality and funeral arrangements while learning powerful messages in their final days together as she holds him in his favorite warm Toronto Maple Leaf blanket. This story was written to help pet owners understand and appreciate their pets, to share in their unconditional 'love, joy and tears' and to help them get through the loss and to know it is okay to grieve. A word from the authorLife can be unpredictable. As strong as we like to believe we eventually end up in vulnerable situations which we have no control over but are expected to endure whatever it is that may come our way and move on. We are given only one life for our journey. And life has a way of periodically changing us in unpredictable ways with the experiences we are dealt, so much so, at times we no longer recognize ourselves. Having a love one die, to some, is the most dreadful thing that can ever happen in their lives. The loss and the heartache at times seem insurmountable, hard to accept and become problematic for us to go on. For some it is the death of an animal for others it is the death of a human being. Whichever it is we have to know it is okay to grieve and to realize the lent of grieving time is different for each individual, as are our thumb prints. It is okay to grieve but there comes a time you will leave the grieving behind and you will be left with memories. This I found to be true.I hope you will enjoy your excursion with Toy Poodle, Mr. Caper Browne as he takes you on a whirlwind tour of his thoughts and experiences, while he shares his life with his master Phone Patty who is very complicated and at times unpredictable, his best friends Elephant Cat who isn't always cordial, and handsome, now you see him, now you don't Cameron. You are bound to laugh and cry as I am sure you will be able to relate, to many of the journeys he is taking you on.
