The first part of the book examines the literature on professional development and presents a quantitative and qualitative study of international school leaders' views. The second part comprises examples of faculty professional development as testified by scholars who have implemented them in real life. The third part deals with important issues, concepts and applications regarding current faculty professional development such as accreditation, mental health, higher education and cultural identity. “This book provides very interesting insights in a growing field. Professional development in international schools is a very important topic as it deals with very specific topics such as multiculturalism, integrating a diverse student body and workforce and specific challenges faced by teachers in those contexts. This book is a great resource to be used individually or in trainings.”                                                                                                           - Bahira Trask, Professor, Human Development and Family Sciences, University of Delaware, USA
