Notă biografică
Born in Lancaster, England in 1968 John Isaacs studied at Cheltenham College of Art, UK, Slade School of Art, London, as well as at Ecole des Beaux Artes in Dijon, France in 1990. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in the UK and internationally, including: 'Wonderful Life', Lisson Gallery, London, 1993; 'Young British Artists 6', Saatchi Gallery, London, 1996; 'Spectacular Bodies', Hayward Gallery, London, 2000; 'Century City', Tate Modern, London, 2001; 'The Uncanny', Tate Liverpool, 2004; 'Le Grande Spectacle', Museum of Modern Art Salzburg, 2005, 'A Perfect Soul', Museum 52, London, 2007. Isaacs lives and works in Berlin. Forthcoming shows include, 'Tomorrow we will wait for you', Christian Ertel & John Isaacs at Ferenbalm- Gurbru Station, and 'Paul Thek' at ZKM, both inKarlshure, Germany. 'Bronze' at Kavi Gupta Gallery, Chicago. 'History', at Travesia Quatro, Madrid.
