Have you ever wondered what made the greats of the Bible so great? What was it that led to their stories being included in the Holy Scriptures? I submit that it was not their great achievements, but rather, the issues of their hearts that led to their inclusion. This book takes a look at some of the minuscule, behind the scenes details of those who touched the life of Jesus. While there are many obvious lessons to be learned from the great men and women of the Word, we often miss some important teachings when we don't take the time to consider the small details of the lives of those portrayed. By looking at the diminutive facts in the lives of some of the greats, and by studying those who played seemingly insignificant roles, we can learn many valuable lessons, which, when applied to our lives, will equip us to better serve the Lord. While studying those who were a part of the early life of the Jesus, I began to wonder: What if we were as faithful to Him as these men and women? What would happen if we were as dedicated to serving our Lord in such a way, as did they? What kind of impact could we have on our world if we truly committed to the King? I pray that you are both challenged and encouraged as you join me in considering some of the minuscule details of those who touched the life of the young Messiah.
