This is my story, my plight in trying to escape the religious restrictions at home only to wind up in very precarious situations, facing homelessness and physical abuse while traveling the country by rail with an alcoholic schizophrenic. It is a story of betrayel, survival, and finding hope despite the horrifying trauma inflicted on me, and ultimately acknowledging the existence of a God who never abandons his children despite their intentional separation from Him.
