This is a first collection by a young Irish woman from the west of Ireland who writes in both Irish (traslation are included in the book) and English. He poetry reflects a deep appreciation of the natural world as well as a strong sense of place. The poetry is freely imaginative, based on a strong religious sensibility with an awareness of the woman's place in traditional religious outlooks.
