Notă biografică

Philippe ORTOLI is currently Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Corsica, after teaching at university level at Paris VII, Poitiers, Aix-en-Provence and Lyons. A regular author of publications on film, he has just finished a volume, Le Musee imaginaire de Quentin Tarantino, Corlet/Cerf (7eme art). Sebastien LEFAIT is Lecturer in English at the University of Corsica. Besides articles about films and about Shakespeare's plays, he has published articles about the new forms of film adaptation. His current research focuses on the use of surveillance in films and TV series, in which he sees a socio-analytical instrument and an aesthetic tool. He is currently finishing a book on the subject, to be released in 2012.
