In the Hands of the Beholder

This book is about love, tragedy, and overcoming the obstacles of daily life. James Clark is a high school student living in the party scene. Everybody knows him and almost every girl loves him. He has had thoughts about changing his lifestyle, but could never seem to take that first step. It all changes when he meets a devout Christian girl in class one day named Susan Johnson.

This novel details their journey through life. Together, they face the trials of not only losing loved ones, but also the struggles of the flesh-faith in God and love for one another play a prominent role in this story.
