In which music, following Flammable, Inflammable (2007) and Para, Taxis (2011), is the third book in The Floating Hut Trilogy by Greg Darms. An amor gestus -- a thinking/stretching project of gesture essays, lyric assays, drawings, and timely/untimely tractates -- the book is a hypotactic container for the paratactic: for incipits taken from the florilegium as well as deliberative readings of and fragmentary encounters with the local flora and river currents. Nearly titled Crow crowd, In which music is, like that ephemeral corvid phenomenon, a provisional continuum of unconformities driven by its own open-ended rules, itself desiring to be capable of further growth and differentiation in the hands of the reader.
