Recenzii
The author has a delightful writing style, all the time making clear why he comes at the problems from a historical perspective.
The extensive coverage of both regulation and 10 topics in one book is rare. One always needs to supplement when teaching one or the other. This book fills that need.
This is a very good text. It reads well and, importantly, it has the distinctive quality of providing a substantial amount of institutional and empirical material. This is invaluable in conveying to the reader the relevance of economic analysis.
The book is up-to-date, it addresses issues that are important in the economy of the 21st century, and it does this integrating historial points, formal models and practical examples. A good all-round 10 book.
