Large numbers of books are already in existence on this topic. The one thing we can be sure of is that the world that will emerge from the present era will be the era of information and knowledge revolution. Many electronic resources are available in the library. The increase in information available on the Web has affected information seeking behavior. Inquisitive nature of human beings has made them curious to seek information. Information seeking behavior, therefore, involves personal reasons for seeking information and the ways and sources from that the required information can be had. In other words it refers to the way people search for and utilize information. An attempt has been made in this paper to study the information seeking behaviours of B.Tech and M.B.B.S. students in Lucknow, U.P.
