This is a true story of a young girl that endured rape at the age of six at the hands of a family friend's son and the sexual abuse that became a repetitive pattern until the oppressor's last attempt at the age of eleven. Let me take you on my journey that started out as what seemed would never end until I found courage to fight for my sanity and peace of mind. Reports show that 93 percent of victims are under the age of eighteen and happens to know the abuser. I am exposing the immediate effects of sexual abuse-withdrawal, sleeping and eating disorder, anger, guilt, depression, and fear, not to mention other doors of unhealthy activity I was exposed to. Through my story, I pray that you're inspired, encouraged, and strengthened to be able to step out on faith and expose the ugly truth about your abuse. I also want you to know about God's healing and deliverance and constant prayer. This opened the door for help in healing and making me whole again and being able to forgive my oppressor when I didn't think it was possible. Forgiveness is key.
