Recenzii
This exceptional book is clearly written, well organized, and rich in data from primary sources. As well as being suitable for professional biologists, this novel volume would provide a stimulating basis for an upper-level undergraduate or graduate-level seminar seeking to explore the interface between ecology and physiology. Summing Up: Highly recommended. Upper-level undergraduates and above - R. E. Lee Jr., Miami University
For those who wish to take their entomological studies that bit further, this is a book well worth reading. Though the subject covered is complex, to say the least, the presentation of this work makes it relatively easy reading.
... this work does present a great deal of original data and is likely to become required reading for anyone studying entomology the level of first degree upwards.
