I am an adult with 22q11.2 . 22q11.2 also called 22q and many other names , is a chromosome disorder where part of the arm of chromosome 22 is missing. It occurs in 1:1000 It is almost as common as Down's Syndrome. It is important to raise awareness, because it is either diagnosed late in life or not at all. One of my Physicians told me I was a walking miracle as we all are.
