Instant City. In Instant City, Austrian installation artist Lorenz Estermann presents us with works on paper together with models that enter into an exciting dialogue with the art forms of painting/drawing, sculpture, architecture and photography. Estermanns works generated enthusiasm among the public at the recent Art Cologne art fair. The focus of Estermanns work is spread equally across the disciplines of drawing, photography and installation/sculpture. The artist uses the plywood and cardboard models as references to the various media and how they can be transformed, creating surprising cross references to architecture.
