Anand B. Deshpande is the Principal and Director of the SAEF’s Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, Karnataka, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Sciences, M.Tech. in Digital Communication and Networking from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and a B.E.in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Karnatak University, Dharwad, India. He has multiple patents and published research in international journals, conferences, books, and journal reviews. He edited a super-resolution book and a Neuroscience Informatics Special Issue and expert in AI, image/video analytics, data analytics, and machine vision.
Vania V. Estrela, M.Sc. from Aeronautics Institute of Technology, Brazil and Northwestern University, USA. Ph.D. in ECE from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. She has teaching experience at DePaul University, Darcy Ribeiro North Fluminense State University (UENF), Centro Universitrio Estadual da Zona Oeste (UEZO), and Polytechnic Institute of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IPRJ/UERJ). Federal Fluminense University's Faculty, Brazil. Her interests include digital signal processing, system modeling, stochastics, multimedia, inclusion, healthcare, AI/sentience, cyber-physical systems, humanitarian engineering, electronic instrumentation, STEAM, environmentalism, and remote sensing. She has published several books and special issues, coordinated multidisciplinary R&D groups, and organized conferences. She is an editor of several journals, and a member of IEEE and ACM.
Asiya Khan has a Ph.D. from University of Plymouth and is now an Associate Professor (Teaching & Learning Head) there. She has a B.Eng. from University of Glasgow, a M.Sc. from Strathclyde University Communications, Control & DSP. She is a Chartered Engineer/Higher Education Academy senior fellow. She is a former EDI Lead. She earned the 2018 Bronze Athena SWAN award. She is the Vulnerable students' RAEng Diversity Impact Programme's leader. She has several EU ERDF projects (two with the British Council). Her interests include AI multimedia prediction/control, female engineering under representation crop, monitoring, and wind turbines' damage recognition. She is a reviewer for several journals. She is a member of IEEE/IET.
