ROBERT V. BARTLETT is Associate Professor of Political Science at Purdue University in Indiana. He is the editor of Policy Through Impact Assessment: Institutionalized Analysis as a Policy Strategy (Greenwood Press, 1989) and coauthor of Environmental Policy in New Zealand: The Politics of Clean and Green (1993).PRIYA A. KURIAN is a fellow in the Women's Studies Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is the author of scholarly articles on environmental policy.MADHU MALIK is an instructor in the Department of History and Political Science at Purdue University. She has published articles on environmental impact assessment and international environmental organizations.
