International Students' Perceptions of & Attitudes Towards E-Resources

Autor Md Anisur Rahman
en Limba Engleză Paperback – aug 2012
International students encounter many problems adjusting to the new environment due to their different backgrounds. These differences influence their expectation of library services and their adjustment with the new academic, cultural and library environment. This book reports results of a research study on International students' perceptions of and attitudes towards electronic resources in the OUC learning centre. It also discovered some general problems in relation to international students' use of libraries in general and some substantial problems which were particularly problematic to international students in connection with using of electronic resources. I believe that this book will provide with a guideline to all university libraries in general and especially for the universities in non-English speaking countries. It is also expected that this book will be useful to the library administration in particular and the university administration in general to take necessary measures to increase the usefulness of the library resources for international students to successfully pursue their studies and research.
