Agnieszka Widera-Wysoczanska, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, assistant professor in the Institute of Psychology, Wroclaw University, Poland (since 1987) and co-developer of the Mental Health Center for Persons from Dysfunctional Families. She specializes in interpersonal, chronic and complex childhood trauma in dysfunctional families. She is a psychotherapist of the European Psychotherapy Association, Trauma Specialist (PARPA), Supervisor of PTS in diagnosis and therapy for people after trauma, Consultant in Child Clinical Psychology of the Polish Psychology Association (PPA). She was (2007- 2009) a member of the National Agency Against Family Violence and is chair of the Therapy of Persons with Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome section of PTS. Has authored books entitled "Dialog about dying. Hermeneutical approaches" (2000), "Cycles of abuse. From generation to generation" (2010), "Chronic interpersonal trauma and integrative psychotherapy (in press)" (2010), and has written numerous articles. Alicja Kuczynska - clinical and social psychologist - professor, PhD, head of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the Institute of Psychology, Wroclaw University. She is editor of the Polish Journal of Applied Psychology. Her main field of interest is concerned with human bonding in social and personal relationships, from an evolutional and social theories point of view (e.g. sex and gender as well as other nonverbal aspects). For about the last ten years she has been focusing her interest on borderline personality disorders.
