Notă biografică
Christopher Smith is a 29-year safety professional whose passion for creating excellence has provided him with unique insight into the creation of excellence and the effectiveness at all levels of leadership in fostering that excellence. His professional journey and personal transformation started with the question, "if excellence is claimed to be understood by so many people, then why is true excellence so rare?" Through many years of helping organizations strengthen their own brands of excellence, Chris decided to share his methods and observations founded from his experiences while serving some of the best organizations in the world. Intrinsic Stability: How Organic Leadership Breeds Excellence is born from those incredible experiences. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on applied management but considers his time in the Navy and his work experience as his real education. Chris's roots were seeded in the elite Naval Nuclear Power Program where he held 3 licenses to operate 3 separate reactors in 6 years. His professional resume, after leaving the Navy, spans incredible iconic companies such as International Paper, Toyota, Owens Corning, and Winnebago Industries. Within each of these organizations, Chris held influential leadership positions with a focus on performing critical functions to support and strengthen the development of operations within those organizations' cultures.
