Notă biografică

Christian D. Ginsburg (1831-1914) was born in Warsaw of Jewish parents. He received a strong rabbinic education in his early years and when he was sixteen he became a Christian; shortly thereafter he emigrated to England. He was on the board that revised the KJV Old Testament in 1885, he wrote biblical commentaries, published four volumes of the Hebrew Masorah, and annotated an edition of the New Testament in Hebrew.
