Essentially the job of syntax is to arrange words together to form sentences. This book is concerned with the concord problems which are arise when the speaker/ writer is confused about the person or number of the subjects or because of the conflict between the grammatical form of subjects and their meanings. Concord problems also occur due to nouns and pronouns gender bias or because of the antecedents referring back to them. Concord problems also arise with the collective nouns, expressions of quantity and relative clause antecedents. This book investigates problems pertaining to concord problems facing students of English at Yemeni Faculties of Education. It identifies the concord problems and offers their solutions.
