A New World War There is a war underway for the souls of mankind and the future of the world. Two opposing visions of civilization, religion, morality and culture are clashing on battlefields across the globe - perhaps on the streets of a city near you. It is a war that is being waged at every level: military, religious, ideological, cultural, economic and demographic. Security forces, militant cells, religious leaders, scholars, analysts, artists, "lone-wolves" and ordinary citizens are being called upon to take sides and to take up arms to protect their way of life. An age of apocalyptic world war, it seems, is dawning across the world. This war is different than recent major conflicts; its origins goes back centuries, into the most deeply rooted myths and power structures of two great civilizations. It is not being fought over superficial differences of territory, tribe, political ideology or nationality, but over fundamental differences of worldview, religion and philosophy. As we shall show, it is in fact a war between two great world domination projects: the Islamic State and the Illuminati. This book is an attempt to make sense of this great global conflict, and to explain the players, stakes and ideas behind a deadly game that will no doubt define our world for many years to come. A Different Perspective Many books have been written about the conflict between Islamism, jihadism, al Qaeda, ISIS, etc. and the "West" or the "modern world". They often have sensationalist styles and read like propaganda for the "War on Terror" or apologetics for the global jihad. But few books have examined both sides of the conflict from a more neutral point of view, and sought to get at the deeper roots of the conflict. What exactly are the ideas, agendas and power structures of the Westernized world that the Islamists object to, and vice versa? Who are the main players driving the war? What are their histories, myths and metaphysical beliefs? What strategies and tactics are they using to achieve victory? This is not a "blame the West first" book of equivocations and apologetics; nor is it an "Islamophobic" screed about the evils of Islamic civilization; nor is it a book of Islamist propaganda. Rather, it is a calm inquiry into the deep power structures and ideologies that animate the militants on both sides, which I hope will give the reader a perspective they haven't encountered before. One thing I do know is this: in every conflict there are propagandists posing as objective analysts, and two sides to every story.
