The author emerged from a small, rural district in Jamaica, where at times he attended primary school without shoes. But he has earned five degrees and became President of his Alma Mater - Jamaica's premier multi-disciplinary college. This is a story that needed to be told, and is told in this book. Not for narcissistic ego-stoking, but to inspire other persons, especially those not born into wealth or privileged circumstances.
