Javier Portus presents enlightening details about mythology and the identity of the artist in Velazquez, and Johannes Myssok writes about the misunderstood "Theseus" by Antonio Canova. Numerous additional articles present up-to-date research and studies from the museum. The "Yearbook of the Museum for Art History in Vienna" is one of the oldest art-historical periodicals of international renown.
