Notă biografică
Eriko Sato is an associate professor of Japanese and Japanese linguistics and the director of the Pre-College Japanese Program and the Teacher Certification Program for Japanese at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is the author of many Japanese language texts including the Learning Japanese Kanji Practice Book series, Reading and Writing Japanese and Japanese Stories for Language Learners, all published by Tuttle. She currently lives in Stony Brook, New York.
Anna Sato is the daughter of Eriko Sato and has previously collaborated with her as a co-author and illustrator of My First Japanese Kanji Book. She is also the translator of 100 First Words for Toddlers and the illustrator of Reading & Writing Japanese. Anna grew up bilingual in New York and regularly travels to Japan to see family and for work. She cherishes childhood memories reading Japanese folktales with her mother.
