Notă biografică
The Author: Christine A. Colón received her B.A. in English from Biola University; her M.A. in English from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; and her Ph.D. in English from the University of California at Davis. Her research interests center primarily on women writers in nineteenth-century Britain. She has published essays on Joanna Baillie, Anne Brontë, Charlotte Brontë, and Adelaide Procter in several volumes of collected essays as well as in Brontë Studies, Women's Writing, and Renascence. She also provided the introduction to Six Gothic Dramas by Joanna Baillie (2007). Dr. Colón is Associate Professor of English at Wheaton College in Illinois.
