His life exploded as he heard three letters. John Sanchez sat listening to the doctor's explanation. He heard some of the words. Thoughts of despair mingled with the doctor's explanation. "HIV is no longer a death sentence." Those words from his doctor instantly brought John to reality.

Noel Ramirez's yearned for a new existence-one outside the home of his mother's overbearing religious views. He wanted to live out of the closet. At 24 years old, Noel wanted to be free. He wanted a relationship with another man. But, he needed a push to move ahead.
