This is an adventure of a young boy with a vivid imagination who is encouraged by a gray rabbit to enter the woods of his back yard. He encounters many creatures that show him a topsy turvy world of fun, education and even a bit of politics. First, he is given two travel companions that sit on each of his shoulders. One gives good advice and the other bad advice. John has to decide which is right and which is wrong in order to get of the forest.
