Joining the Conversation collects haiku and senryu by attendees of the twelfth annual Seabeck Haiku Getaway, sponsored by Haiku Northwest and held October 24 to 27, 2019 in Seabeck, Washington. Edited by C. R. Manley, the anthology features work by sixty-three poets and art by Ion Codrescu, who created the cover as well as haiga featuring seven poems. In addition, the anthology includes all the poems on display in the Seabeck Haiku Walk, a series of twenty plaques permanently installed in 2019 on the grounds of the Seabeck Conference Center.
