Journey of a Thousand Steps

Ellen will not let the memory of her son fade. As a distraction, Adrian talks her into attending a Murder Mystery Party a neighbor is hosting. When the party doesn't go as planned, another piece of their mystery is revealed, but it raises additional questions. Levi informs Ellen about a 'caper' that could mean a piece of Jason is coming home, but something goes terribly wrong, after which Adrian pulls away and goes back to the CIA. Ellen immerses herself into racing again with the purpose of winning the Triple Crown of Harness Racing. A documentary about a super cyclone that rips through a cluster of islands west of Fiji catches her attention and she starts to develop a new theory and takes matters into her own hands, because she desperately wants to discover the origin of her recurring dreams. She devises a plan that does not include Adrian, because she wants closure to this madness called life. When Adrian discovers what she's up to, she dares him to find her.
