For some people, Iowa is flat land that borders the major highways across the state. But there is much more to the state than many people see. This is a book about my journey along the interstate, highways, byways and at times, gravel roads to visit 1200 towns in Iowa. A journey that allowed me to see so much of the state and its sights. Taking photos at each town gave me, at times, an insight to the town and its people. This journey, off and on, took me seven years to complete. And well worth the effort. Hopefully you'll enjoy the photos and the other information about the big and small towns in Iowa.
