Jupiter is host to many fascinating stories, including disasterous storms, tragic battles, shipwrecked travelers, railroad disasters, and bootlegging outlaws. Authors Lynn Lasseter Drake and William Carlin White both have strong ties to Jupiter. Drake is a genealogical historian and historical researcher specializing in Jupiter pioneer history. White is a former mayor of Jupiter and a direct descendent of the town's earliest pioneers. Both have contributed their experience and knowledge to create this memorable photographic history of a rich and storied community.
