With a loss of a child, a tremendous storm is felt. Once the storm passes we hope the message of this book will endure as the family moves through the stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Our family of strong Catholic spirituality, my daughter reflects our belief of a "forever family"; a personal, spiritual family that guides us from our physical reality to our spiritual eternity. This story is about a young girl, Katie, for which after a lengthy illness awakens in heaven. Upon her arrival she meets her Heavenly Mother and Guardian Angel. Her new world begins as she takes her Heavenly Mother's hand and looks into her eyes for the first time.
