Kenny Rogers is an American singer and actor. He played in several groups before finding success on his own with the breakout hit “Love Lifted Me” and went on to score several more major hits and awards. He recently celebrated fifty years of his career in a television special filmed at MGM Grand at Foxwoods, where participants included Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Wynonna Judd, Alison Krauss, and Chris Isaak. Rogers has won several American Music, Country Music Academy, American Academy of Music, and Grammy awards, among other awards. John Sexton is an American fine art photographer who worked for Ansel Adams from 1979 until Adams’ death in 1984.
