Kisi sey Payaar ka Matlab was first published by Jahangir Book Depot Urdu Bazar Lahore, Pakistan in 1993. This poetic collection gathered a great attention of poetry lovers as soon as it came out for sale. Also, the literary circles in Pakistan showed their admiration through literary sittings, newspapers and writing reviews on it. The book was appreciated with immense possibilities and the poet Salman Siddique was expected then an emerging poet of thought provoking and astonishing poetry which was also expected a valuable change on the horizon of modern Urdu poetry and later on, no doubt, he proved that all expectation made came true by his other works came out after this collection.
