'Kitty Blue' is the stage name of Catherine 'Kitty' Bennet, a talented but broke singer, who lives in an outback town located near the magical Currup mountain ranges in the central Australian desert. Kitty has just broken up with her no-good boyfriend, fellow musician, Evan Wickham, and moved back into the Bennet family home to live with her matrimonially-obsessed mother, and two sisters, Mary, a spinster librarian, and Lydia, a wild schoolgirl.
