Knapsack of Stars Poetry by Kieran York is the third volume of York's 'Thought Trilogy' poetry. She refers to this huge series as a 'thought trilogy' because a great deal of her poetry style is stream of consciousness. Her interior monologues trilogy includes early work, as well as recent compositions. Once Word, published in 2016, was the first in the series, followed by Festival of a Moment, released in 2017. York's previous work includes: Blushing Aspen, which was published as Sappho's Corner Poets Series for 2014. It received the Rainbow Award for Honorable Mention for Poetry. It was also a finalist in the Poetry Category of the Golden Crown Literary Award. In 2015, her poetry book titled Realm of Belonging, was released by Scarlet Clover Publishers. Included in this new volume are works from her Hippie era, throughout the last decades. Also, sixty songs from when she was performing, many new love poems, and an acclaimed section of war poetry will be released. Poetry accumulated through the years, up through today, the Thought Trilogy is completed with Knapsack. Perhaps each life offers participants floral souvenirs. Years of longing are behind us.
