Notă biografică

D. E. Brobst was born last of nine children in 1943 to Hallie and Florence Brobst on a farm in rural Minnesota. He graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1961 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in English and Mathematics in 1965. He performed as a drummer while in college. Married Kathleen Schulstad in 1966. They have three children. D. E. taught English at Saint Cloud State College and Technical High School, was drafted in 1969 and returned to teach English at Apollo High School, Saint Cloud, MN. He was adjunct lecturer at C
