Dorothea Kubanek geb.¿1933, 1955 erstmals als Au-pair in Rom, anschließend jährliche Kurzaufenthalte in Rom. In den Jahren 1959 und 1962 als Physiotherapeutin an Kinderkliniken in Perugia und am Vatikan. 1963 Ausbildung zur Restauratorin für Gemälde in Rom, München und Berlin. In München als Restauratorin tätig bis 2012.
