The Coptic Collection IV continues the project begun in the earlier Volumes I-III of compilingdocumentary texts into a clearly organized compendium. Volume IV collects letters, lectures, primary documents, receipts, orders, lists, inscriptions, and epigraphs dating from the 4th to the 12th century A.D. Comprehensive indexes, concordances, and a list of corrections supplement the collection of texts. The Coptic Collection should prove to be an indispensable tool for Coptic studies.
