As a lesbian author seeking to nurture the creative souls of her readers and stir courage for lesbians and gays to come out and be proud, Fire De Ville is also challenged to give back to the community. As the founder of a new charity, "Fire's Challenge," Fire is on the forefront of giving back to support single LGBT parents, LGBT artists and LGBT students. A third of the proceeds from the sale of her trilogy will be used as seed money to establish "Fire's Challenge" to the benefit of many. So as Fire takes us on a journey with her characters from the hustle and bustle of the big city to the sun-drenched shores of Ibiza, we must wonder as to the souls the characters encounter whose lives might be affected by the good works of "Fire's Challenge" and the challenge Fire puts forth to all of us to make a difference in our communities.
